Privacy policy

Behind The Gloves respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, company (if provided), the topic you’re interested in, and your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to discuss sessions, events or partnerships you’ve asked about.

How we keep it

Form submissions are stored securely by our website hosting provider. We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting relationship, and we never sell your information.

Marketing emails

We only send you news, event invitations and updates by email if you’ve ticked the marketing box on our contact form (or otherwise asked to hear from us). We record when and how you gave consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing info@btg-boxing.com. Your details are held in our CRM, HubSpot, which sends these emails on our behalf.

BT(G)PT, our AI chat

BT(G)PT is an AI assistant that answers questions about Behind The Gloves using the information on this website. What you type is sent to an AI model provider through our website host, Netlify, to generate the reply. We keep an anonymous log of chats (the questions, BT(G)PT’s answers, the page the chat started on, the country it came from and the time) so we can see what people want to know and improve the site. We don’t store your name, email address or IP address with it or use it to identify anyone, and we delete chat logs after 12 months. Please don’t share personal or sensitive information in the chat. BT(G)PT can make mistakes, so check anything important with us at info@btg-boxing.com.

Cookies and analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website, such as which pages are viewed and how long people stay. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes this usage data on our behalf. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site, never to identify you or for advertising.

If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@btg-boxing.com.
